Real Estate private equity funds
Proteus works with Private Real Estate Funds that have exposure and own Church mortgages which they have purchased in the secondary market, typically from banks who are scrubbing their portfolios. Proteus has developed a unique system that focuses on faster conversion to cash for the funds AND getting full value for the Notes. Our ability to refinance the Note in timely fashion and at, or close to full value, has increased the overall IRR for these funds by as much as 500 - 800 basis points per annum.
JOINT VENTURE – DEVELOPMENT
On larger projects and Development related opportunities, Proteus Capital has direct relationships with large institutions and other private equity funds that specialize in special situations and or Development. Proteus can finance commercial projects and tailor or structure rates to fit the specific project. We can arrange extremely competitive commercial rates and or seek permanent finance terms. Additionally, we can assist in providing Equity and or a Joint Venture partner for specific development opportunities.
